ROSI BERLIN präsentiert Tanzbad 5

Nach vier erfolgreichen Ausgaben präsentiert ROSI BERLIN Tanzbad 5.
Tanzbad ist ein zweitägiges Festival mit Kurzproduktionen, das neue Gesichter aus zeitgenössischem Tanz und Performance und ihre choreographischen Arbeiten präsentiert.
Tanzbad beschäftigt sich in seiner fünften Ausgabe mit den Begriffen Urbanität und Wandel, Heimat und Entfremdung. Damit setzt ROSI BERLIN zum ersten Mal einen übergeordneten thematischen Schwerpunkt innerhalb des Festivals.
Die präsentierten Arbeiten werden sich, egal in welcher Form, ob ästhetisch, inhaltlich oder konzeptuell mit Fragen der Ver- und Entwurzelung beschäftigen, dabei kann die räumliche, zeitliche, soziale sowie kulturelle Dimension des Begriffs Heimat von Bedeutung sein.
Kuratiert wird Tanzbad 5 von den ROSI BERLIN-Gründerinnen Christin Maaß und Johanna Withelm, sowie erstmals auch vom neuen Team-Mitglied Cilgia Gadola.

After four successful editions ROSI BERLIN presents Tanzbad 5. Tanzbad is a two-day festival with short pieces and presents new faces of contemporary dance and performance and their choreographic work.
This year’s Tanzbad is about urban surroundings, changes, home and alienation.We are looking for pieces that deal with these topics conceptual, aesthetically or content wise. They may revolve around questions of rootedness and uprooting or apply the theme in a more abstract way, considering space, time and social and cultural backgrounds in relation to the concept of home.
Tanzbad 5 is curated by the ROSI BERLIN founders Christin Maaß and Johanna Withelm, and- for the first time- by the new team member Cilgia Gadola.
