Ausschreibung/ Application Tanzbad 4

Liebe ROSI BERLIN Freunde!

Es ist wieder soweit. ROSI BERLIN ist auf der Suche nach frischen Fischen für die vierte Ausgabe von Tanzbad, auf der Suche nach Tanztheater am Puls der Zeit.

Tanzbad ist eine von ROSI BERLIN kuratierte, jährlich stattfindende Tanz/ Performance-Reihe mit Kurzstücken im Bereich zeitgenössischer Tanz, Tanztheater, Performance. Tanzbad soll eine Plattform bieten, auf der sich Menschen aus den verschiedenen Sparten der Performance-Kunst begegnen können. Die Vernetzung zwischen Berliner TänzerInnen/ChoreographInnen und überregionalen KünstlerInnen ist dabei von Bedeutung. Den KünstlerInnen soll hier die Chance gegeben werden, sich fern ab von vorherrschenden Hierarchiestrukturen frei ausprobieren zu können. ROSI BERLIN sieht sich in diesem Sinn als Botschafter, dialogsuchend, kosmopolitisch, innovativ, eigenwillig.

gesucht werden: Tanz/ und Performance- Stücke mit einer Länge von max. 10-15 Minuten

Die Bewerbung sollte folgendes enthalten:

-DVD bzw. Link zur Produktion

-Titel des Stücks

-Kurzbio des/der Choreograph/In (max. 1000 Zeichen)

-kurzer Text zum Stück (Max. 1000 Zeichen)

-Namen der Mitwirkenden, Angaben zur Musik, Bühnenanforderungen, Licht.

Bitte beachten: Die Rückwand der Bühne ist eine Spiegelwand und kann NICHT abgehängt werden, die Spielfläche ist 9m breit, 11m tief.

APPLICATION Tanzbad 4

 It’s time again. ROSI BERLIN is seeking for fresh fish for the fourth edition of the Tanzbad. Once a we are looking for dance-theatre that has the finger on the pulse and that is cutting edge.

Tanzbad is a dance-performance series that takes place every year. It is curated by Rosi Berlin, a culture project founded in 2008. The festivals aim is to open up a space where artists from different categories of performance art, located in Berlin and nationwide, can meet and mix up. Tanzbad tries to give artists a chance to experiment with their talent while being free from the restrictions of hierarchical structures. ROSI BERLIN’S aesthetical approach is to liberate contemporary dance from its cultural restricted surroundings and to make it accessible for a broad audience. ROSI BERLIN sees itself as innovative, divers, forward thinking and individual ambassador.Tanzbad 4 will be taking place at the 21. & 22. of September 2012, at the Ballhaus Ost, Pappelallee 15, 10437 Berlin. (www. ballhausost.de)

Pieces from different choreographers will be shown.

Requested are pieces with a contemporary background, maximum 10-15 minutes length.

-Choreographer incl. short CV (max. 1000 signs)

-short abstract/description of the piece (max. 1000 signs)

-Dancer/Participants, Music, Stage requirement/props

Please beware: the backwall of the stage is a mirror and can NOT be cowered. Stage size is 9m from side to side, 11m from back to front)

At this time we are not able to give information about fees because we don’t know yet if we will get any cultural funding, the application procedure is still in progress. We will let you know immediately if there are any possibilities for us to pay any fees!
